Grammar keyboard for iPhone: fix grammar in any app.
Type the way you normally do. Tap Fix Grammar above the keys, and PromptPad corrects the whole message right where you wrote it.
How tap-to-fix works
PromptPad is a grammar keyboard for iPhone that fixes a whole message in one tap. It does not underline words while you type. You write, tap Fix Grammar, and the corrected text replaces what you wrote in the same field.
That makes it quick for short messages, where you just want the mistakes gone before you hit send. If you want to check the result first, use Preview mode: you see the corrected version, then Apply it or Regenerate. Instant mode skips the check and replaces the text straight away.
Fix Grammar is meant to correct spelling, grammar and punctuation while keeping your words and tone. If you want the message to sound different, that is a rewrite, and a separate shortcut does it.

Ways to fix grammar on iPhone
You have four realistic options, and the right one depends on what you want help with.
1. Autocorrect and spell check
Built into the Apple keyboard and free. It catches typos as you type, but it does little for grammar, punctuation or a sentence that is technically correct and still reads badly.
2. Apple Writing Tools: Proofread
On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, you can select text and choose Proofread. It is free, private and built in, and it shows what it changed. You need a supported iPhone, and you select the text first.
3. The Grammarly keyboard
Grammarly suggests corrections as you type and explains them. If you want to learn from your mistakes, or you already use Grammarly on a computer, it is a strong choice. It is built mainly for English.
4. PromptPad
One tap fixes the whole message, in any app, in 9 keyboard languages, and it works on iPhones without Apple Intelligence through cloud AI. It does not explain each correction. It is built for people who want the message right and want to move on.

Where the others are better. Grammarly is better if you want explanations and steady feedback on your writing, across your phone and computer. Apple Writing Tools is better if you have a supported iPhone and want something free that needs no extra keyboard. PromptPad is better if you write in more than one language, want one tap instead of select-then-menu, or want the same keyboard to fix, rewrite and translate.

Grammar keyboard questions
Does PromptPad check grammar while I type?
No. PromptPad fixes grammar when you tap the Fix Grammar shortcut, not word by word as you type. The whole message is corrected at once, in the field you are typing in.
Will Fix Grammar change what I meant?
It is designed to correct mistakes and keep your wording and tone. AI can still get things wrong, so use Preview mode when it matters: you see the result before anything changes.
Is PromptPad a Grammarly alternative?
For quick fixes in messages, yes. PromptPad corrects the whole text in one tap and works in 9 keyboard languages. Grammarly is the better choice if you want explanations for each correction.
Is the grammar keyboard free?
Yes, to start. The free plan includes 4 shortcuts, 20 cloud AI runs, unlimited on-device runs and 2 of the 9 keyboard languages. Pro makes everything unlimited.
Go beyond grammar
Fix Grammar is one shortcut on the PromptPad AI keyboard. Setting it up takes about a minute: see how to add the keyboard.
